Our team
Rui Alpalhão, a Portuguese national, is active in fund management since 1992, first as a director of the Totta asset management arm and since 2003 under his FundBox® brand, which grew from zero to €630 million under management in the eve of the Lehman crisis.
He holds a doctorate in Finance, and complements his FundBox life with a Full Professorship at the Lisbon University Institute. He has published two books in Portugal and various papers in peer-reviewed international financial journals.
Miguel Moreno, a seasoned professional in the Portuguese financial arena, was an investment banker with the Espírito Santo Group and the CFO of leading Portuguese insurer Tranquilidade, later acquired by Generali.
He is a shareholder and the CEO of Ask Patrimónios, a regulated Portuguese wealth manager.
Luís Pais dos Santos, a professional racing driver in his youth, was the head of sales at the Wyndham Grand Algarve Residences and the head of Business Development at Dynamic Hotels.
Nowadays he is the Head of Business Development at Soliteight and FundBox Holdings.
Hélder Andrade dos Santos, one of the most reputed Portuguese hotel specialists. Hélder was involved in over 100 hotel projects, both in Europe and in Asia and with all major hotel brands, such as Marriott, Sheraton, Hilton, Wyndham, InterContinental and Meliá.
He is the founder and owner of Dynamic Hotels, a consulting company providing a broad range of consultancy services from concept design to turn-key hotel developments.
